We got the papers this week to sign for another six months in our flat. It's a little hard to believe that our first six months is almost up already, we must be having fun! I think just settling in and getting used to a new place has played a part too. There are still things in boxes and we both have stuff still at our parent's houses, but it definitely looks and feels like home now. Our living room is our mobile suit hangar, we have more than enough suits to sink Neo Zeon :P
I'm still temping at the council. It has started to become a bit of a drag, but as long as I am making enough money to pay rent and bills I can't really complain too much. I've applied for a few jobs but not been lucky with any of them, I really need to be applying for more than I am. I know I should make more effort, but a lot of the time I just can't muster up the motivation.
Haven't really been up to much else, although I did finish Phantom Hourglass and the first Phoenix Wright game. Dancing has started again but I'm taking it easy in regards to going back. I don't want to aggravate my bad foot, and I'm sure that dance teach don't want me injuring myself in their class.
Pretty Deidara icon because Deidara is awesome.
Had a busy bank holiday weekend, which was a nice change. It's been nice to do lots of stuff, I had a lot of fun.
On Saturday, Alun and I went to the Thai restaurant in town with a couple of his friends. The food was good, after they got my starter right. They gave me 9a instead of 10a, what a silly mistake. After food we headed to the cinema to see G.I. Joe.
On Sunday Simon and Jay descended upon us for copious amounts of gaming. We were also joined my Aron and Wai San, it was good to see them too. We all headed into Birmingham for Sushi and other assorted Japanese food and, of course, hitting the comic shops.
When we arrived back at GemAlun-Z HQ the gaming really began and ran till about 2:30 am. We all had a go at Guitar Hero World Tour, and the usual fighting and shooting games were brought out also. I think a good laugh was had by all.
Today Alun and I went to Twycross Zoo to see some pokemans animals. The weather more or less held out while we were there, but when we had done most of the zoo large black clouds came over bringing rain and lightning so we left.
Back to work tomorrow. I'm sure it will be loads of fun if the backlog of bills has been printed @_@ No sign of anything more permanent yet, so I'd better keep looking. I'm not gonna be happy if all I can get is stupid admin work, but it will have to do for now I suppose. It's starting to feel like I'll never leave admin though and it feels like a waste of my life but I'll do it anyway so I should probably stop whining about it.
I was stupid on Saturday. I wasn't looking where I was going and hurt my foot. I wasn't paying attention as I exited the shoo so I didn't see the step and clumisly stumbled off it ><;;
Because it had hurt so much during the night and I couldn't put weight on it on Sunday morning Alun and I headed off to A and E just to make sure I hadn't done any serious damage. Mr.Doctor seemed pretty convinced it was nothing more than a sprain. So, I was sent on my way to put my feet up for the rest of the day. The swelling has gone down so much overnight and I can hobble about now, which is better than hopping and crawling :P I'll probably be fine for work tomorrow.
Silly me.

Deidara, my favourite member of Akastuki from the Naruto series. Gotta love it.
While I think on, I had one of my bizzare dreams the other night. The Doctor needed a new assistant and decided to go about getting a new one in a different way - a contest of sorts. He was going to hide himself and whoever found him would be his new assisant.
Now, after not having much luck I concluded he must have slipped hislef into another dimension so I figured if I shouted really loud he'd hear me. I also thought getting some height would help my situation so I put a char on a counter and leant on that. Then, I shouted,
"Doooooooooooooooooooooooooctor, I'm right heeeeeeeeere so come and get me!"
The only thing I succeded in was breaking the chair. Turns out he was hiding in a children's book about bears. He and the new assistant float away in a hot air balloon. Lovely.
My dream was not over yet, oh no. I left the building we had all been in a bumped into a lost child. I helped her home only to be greeted by her mother congratulating her daughter on finding a pet. This was no ordinary family, this was an alien family. The mother said the daughter could take me for walks, and pulled out a lead with look like it was to go up my nose. Needless to day I quickly go out of there.
I returned to the buling I had previously been in, only this time I ran into Captin Jack Harkness and some of his Torchwood buddies. He said I would make a good hamster and should come back tomorrow to try out.
Seriously, my head baffles even me sometimes.
So an agency came through with some work for me, 20 hours a week admin work with the local council. It seems pretty basic but it's better than having no money coming. I have spent the best part of my time there today putting things in envelopes though @_@ Many, many envelopes - I think it is a big part of the job.
In more fun news...I'm sitting here with my ballet shoes on :) trying to break them in a little before I go to class tonight. Any excuse!!

It should have taken me no more that about 35 minutes to get home from Dorridge this evening, instead it took me an hour and a half. Stupid M6, part of it was closed. As usual the satnav was useless in this kind of situation, it turned me round only to take me past the same bit of motorway. It didn't help that I am unfamiliar with both motorways and the area. I suppose the main thing is that I got home, albeit in a roundabout fashion, safely and without having a mental/emotional breakdown.
Settling nicely into the flat. Sebastian is now on display, so all is well. Will have to get my skates on with looking for employment. As good as it is getting to watch Diagnosis Murder every weekday, it doesn't play this bills :P
Felt like I needed a change so...new layout!
I know it has been a while, so...yeah, I'm still here ^_^ I will post something that resembles a proper update some day soon. I haven't even made any posts that are no more than fangirling. I am getting lazy!
Just saw this on TV...
...I'm not imagining it. It is the Loituma leek spinning song, right?
